JD Operations were contracted to undertake the designing, manufacturing, and installation of the steel structure of the building. This amounted to over 700 tonnes of steelwork! JD Operations were also tasked with closing off the external envelope of the building, with a new system of curtain wall, the first time this system has been used in Malta.
Over 6000sqm of glass was used in this project. Other works completed include Alucobond cladding, aluminium mesh cladding, steel railings, doors, and windows.
Thanks to the combination of new systems, high quality materials, and craftsmanship, this building received LEED certification.
